Falcons visit local Friendly's

WILBRAHAM, MA (September, 2007) - - Beginning Monday, September 24, 2007 at the 732 Bliss Road, Longmeadow Friendly’s Restaurant, the Springfield Falcons will introduce NEW members of the Hockey Club to the community. Fans are encouraged to drop by area Friendly’s restaurants and introduce themselves to the team. The Springfield Falcons are entering this season with a new affiliation with the NHL’s Edmonton Oilers. A schedule of all stops is listed below.

“We greatly appreciate the continued support of Friendly’s Restaurants,” said Bruce Landon, President & GM of the Springfield Falcons. “With most of our players being new to the area, what better place to introduce them to our fans, than in a Friendly’s!”

As part of the Friendly’s and Springfield Falcons continued partnership, players, coaches and the Falcons mascot, Screech, will be meeting fans and signing autographs. Fans can register to win a pair of tickets (to Opening Night or an upcoming game).

We can’t wait to introduce the new players to their fans and we’re hoping this season will be their best yet,” stated Hope McManus, Friendly’s Marketing Manager.
