New England County Cup 'AAA' Hockey Tournament

WHAT IS THE COUNTY CUP TOURNAMENT?
The County Cup Hockey Tournament was formed to give ‘AAA’ level players an opportunity to play for the area in which they live against other Counties in Massachusetts as well as teams from Maine, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. This Tourney was put together by former pro players and hockey people, for the benefit of high-level youth players to showcase their talents.

WHAT IS THE COST OF THE TOURNAMENT AND WHAT DO YOU GET?
The cost to tryout is $50.00 per player. The cost to play in the Tournament is $199.00 per player. That includes a 5 game guarantee with a maximum of 8 games if you go to the finals. All games 3 –15 minute stop time periods. Players receive game shirts and socks and a Tournament Tee-Shirt at check-in. Team and individual awards for the top two teams in each division. All Tournament Team and MVP awards for all Divisions. Team photo for each player. Top level coaching at every age level.

HOW MANY PLAYERS PER ROSTER?
Each Coach will select nine forwards, six defensemen, and two goaltenders. Two alternates will also be selected in case a player gets hurt or ill and cannot attend. Players must play at their own age level. No player will be allowed to play up an age level. You must live in either Hampden County, Berkshire County, Hampshire County, or Franklin County to play for this team. We are combining all four Counties to come up with the best possible team.

HOW DO I REGISTER FOR TRYOUTS?
Go To www.necountycup.com and click on tryouts. There will be a printable tryout application that you can print on your computer. Fill out the application and send it along with a check for $50.00, made out to the “New England County Cup”. Please mail applications and checks to N.E. County Cup, c/o 39 Hunting Lane, Agawam, MA 01001 to pre-register or bring it the day of tryouts. Pre-Registration is suggested for our Counties due to the number of players trying out.

GAME SCHEDULE & DATES
Our teams will only have to play Thursday Through Sunday with an occasional team having to play on a Wednesday night. Travel Time to Foxboro is 1.5 hours from West Springfield.
