1.
What makes hockey special for the player? Why?
Keegan’s love for the game, there are plenty of things we
as coaches try to teach the kids and one thing that sticks out
to me is, no matter what the score of the game, what situation
we are in Keegan is always smiling on the ice, Yes he is one of
our strongest players but that is a result of his commitment to
practice and always trying to learn new skills. Keegan loves the
game for it’s fast pace, physical play, checking and most
of all he says a fun TEAM sport.
2.
What is their favorite hockey experience? Keegan’s
favorite experience was last year we took our team to The Fleet
Center and played a game on the Bruins Ice, we then attended the
Bruins game after. Just to see there eyes as they where looking
up at the scoreboard from center ice was beautiful. A close second
was the triple overtime game against Umass vs Maine two years
ago.
3.
Other reason player deserves to be honored as the player of the
month? Keegan is a leader on our team , All the kids
look up to him. Keegan is a Honer student at Frontier Regional
High School being in the 7th grade. He is a three sport athlete,
soccer and baseball as his two others. Of course HOCKEY is #1.
