Championship Week Concludes

The Greater Springfield League 10th Annual Falcons Cup Championship Week at the Mass Mutual Center in Springfield has concluded. All that is left is to hand out the hardware this weekend at "The Nest", Friday and Saturday Night the GSL and the Springfield Falcons will honor the teams that took part in the Championship Week games with the official presentations of the Falcons Cup to the Champions and the Finalists. All the boxscores and photos of all 16 games can be found on the Championship Week page below. The GSL and along with league sponsor the Springfield Falcons have been playing the Championship Game format in 1998 season and are proud to continue the tradition. The GSL would also like to thank all those who helped make the 2007 Championship Week special again, Bruce Landon and the Springfield Falcons, Damon Markiewicz for recording all the games and making the DVDs for all the teams, Jason Gonet for handling the music and scoreboard graphics, the entire staff of the Mass Mutual Center, the Springfield Parking Authority, Timethief Photography Sports, Eusko-Hevey Goalie School, Big Y World Class Markets, and to all the GSL players, families, and youth hockey fans.
