2006 Skills
Clinic Sponsored by:
I
would like to invite you to the 2006 CCM Skills Clinic. The clinic
is personally directed by me, Patrick Tabb, each week I will have
a different instructor with me on the ice. My goal is to pass
on the things I have learned from my past coaches, each instructor
has personally just finished their playing days and are fresh
off their hockey experiences which gives our students the ability
to speak with players closer to their own age which makes it easier
for them to relate to and ask questions while getting answers
from an instructor that has been through the hockey world which
at times can get very confusing. These highly structured practice
sessions will be spirited, high tempo affairs, with an emphasis
on individual skills and team play. Each session I will be joined
on ice with Erik Tondera a USA Master level coach and current
president/coach of the Bay State Buccaneers midget hockey club.
This unique clinic allows you to improve your game by learning
from players who have just recently finished their playing days,
and “the process,” of making it to that next level.
Many questions players your age have like: attending a prep school,
playing junior hockey, the college recruiting and application
process, making your varsity High School team or just some advice
on your next step. Who better to ask then a college coach and
young players just fresh from their experiences. This clinic is
pure hockey skills no daycares here. Once again I look forward
to meeting and getting to know the faces I see on a daily basis
around the arena. My goal is to give something back to the great
sport of hockey and pass on the lessons I have learned from my
great past coaches. Weekly guest instructors include Ryan Morton
(Quinnipiac), Joe Exter (Merrimack, Asst. AIC), Torry Gadja (Providence
College), Dominic Torretti (Providence, Umass), Brian Jacque (Bessone
Award winner, Johnson & Wales)…. And more!!
