Coach Potvin Remembered

On behalf of the Springfield Falcons, I first want to send along our most sincere condolences to Marc Potvin's family and friends. We all lost a dear friend in Marc.

It was in Springfield in which I met coach Potvin for the very first time, and from day one, I knew Marc was a man who was not only passionate about hockey, but passionate about life. During Marc's time in Springfield, he went out of his way to make the entire front office staff feel part of the Falcons family.

On a personal level, I am very thankful I had the opportunity to form a strong friendship with Marc both at the rink and away from the rink. I am also thankful Marc gave me the opportunity to work along side him last season in Adirondack, the memories we shared together I will always take with me into the future.

Marc was always grateful for the time he spent in Springfield and he will truly be missed.
