Greater Boston
Youth Hockey League President Paul McLaughlin Pass Away
Boston Ma.--
Press Release The hockey community has lost a legend. Paul McLaughlin
was one of the greatest, giving and humble volunteers I have had
the honor and pleasure to work with. He devoted all his waking
hours to both Ice Hockey & the Little League.
During the
Civil War, the Confederate Secretary of War was asked "where
is your office". He emptied his pockets and stated "here
is my office". That was Paul! He carried his office in his
brief case and his heart on his sleeve.
I will miss
Paul, as will countless others. He gave us his last full measure
and I applaud his virtue.
If there is a heaven, then Paul has a free pass for all the children,
our children he has served and helped. Many of the children will
never hear his name, or know who he was, but he has touched so
many of their lives and they have prospered because of it.
