Gary Dineen 1943-2006

Western Mass hockey has lost one of its greatest friends and teachers. Gary Dineen, founder of the New England Jr. Falcons and the Gary Dineen Hockey School passed away from cancer this morning after a long and gallant battle. Visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. The Liturgy of the Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Springfield. The Greater Springfield League would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the family, friends, and players of this great man.
