GSL News from 10/17/05 Board Meeting

The following are some of the news items from Monday nights GSL meeting at Amelia Park in Westfield.

• Divisions Set
  The GSL Board of Directors set the division for the 2005-06 season by the Evaluation Committee and approved by the eboard. The Division will be posted on Monday.
• Call up Rule Waived
  The three call up rule for players in any division has been waived for the 2005-06 season. Any team can call up a player from a lower team, as long as they are not in the same division, as many times as needed to fill out a roster to play with 11 players for a game.
• Teddy Bear Pools and Spas GSL Youth Player of the Week
  The Springfield Falcons, the GSL, and Teddy Bear Pools and Spas are please to introduce the Youth Player of the Week. Each week, one GSL player will be profiled and featured on the Falcons web site, www.falconsahl.com. Forms were handed out to each GSL rep at the meeting and copies are available at both Amelia Park and the Olympia. GSL Player of the Week nomination form
• Schedule Changes this Weekend
  There is one final schedule change this weekend involving six teams in the Pee Wee division on Saturday.
